				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We have an awesome June planned for you- kick off your summer right, with beer and pork!</p>
<p>Sycamore will be teaming up with Nashville chefs to offer charcuterie at the Jackalope brewery taproom every weekend in June. Each plate will feature two selections of fresh and/or cured charcuterie- one prepared by Chef Tony Galzin of Sycamore, and one prepared by a local guest chef. Plates will also include a cheese from The Bloomy Rind, and a beer pairing from Jackalope.  All charcuterie will be made from one purebred &#8220;Red Wattle&#8221; hog from Phillips Pharm here in Davidson County.</p>
<p>The lineup of partner chefs is as follows:</p>
<p>May 30-June 2: Matt Lackey, Flyte<br />June 7-June 9: Gary McComas, The Yellow Porch<br />June 14-June 16: Zack Maddox, Coffee/Lunch<br />June 21-June 23: Vivek Surti, Viviek’s Epicurian Adventures<br />June 28-June 30: James Peisker &amp; Chris Carter, Porter Road Butcher</p>
<p>Charcuterie and cheese plates with a beer paring will be $20 each, and will be available at the Jackalope Brewery Taproom during normal business hours Friday-Sunday, while supplies last.</p>

<div id="yui_3_7_2_20_1357334465293_107">For our January 27th dinner, we again have the great opportunity to work with whole animals from Philip&#8217;s Pharm.</div>
<div id="yui_3_7_2_20_1357334465293_109">Farmer Chris Philips Has a small flock of 10 sheep that he is raising in the northern part of Nashville. The sheep are a cross breed of Katahdin and Dorper sheep, two breeds that are raised specifically for meat. The Katahdin breed is known as very high quality meat breed, producing lambs that are naturally lean with a mild flavor. Dorper sheep are also a quality meat breed, and are known for their foraging skills. In addition to feeding on the grass pasture across the five farm acres, the Philip&#8217;s Pharm sheep are also scouring the forest floor this time of year and eating acorns.</div>
<div id="yui_3_7_2_20_1357334465293_116">Sheep on Philip&#8217;s Pharm lead a very happy life, interacting with farmer Chris on a daily basis. On January 27th, our dinner at Cafe Fundamental  we will be a four course menu prepared from two whole lambs. We are so grateful to be able to source these high quality, humanely raised animals from a local farm right here in Davidson County!</div>

<em>Gnocchi &#8211; ricotta gnocchi, red wine braised lamb ragout, grana padano cheese</em></p>

<em>Leg of Lamb- brined and whole roasted with natural jus</em><br />
<em> Crepinette &#8211; confit of lamb, pan seared with winter chicory salad</em><br />
<em> Savory Pies- butter and suet flaky pastry crust, traditional mincemeat filling</em></p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are excited to finally be able to share the news about our next event! The dinner will feature lambs from our friends at Philip&#8217;s Pharm. Philip&#8217;s Pharm, located right here in Davidson County, provided the delicious free range hog for our November dinner and we are so grateful to be working with them again.</p>
<p>Each course will have a cocktail pairing, created by Jon and Lindsay Yeager of PourTaste (<a href="http://pourtaste.wordpress.com/" rel="nofollow">http://pourtaste.wordpress.com/</a>). Jon and Lindsay are amazing mixologists, and their company has produced some of the best cocktail driven events in Nashville from classes at the farmers market to the East Nashville Cocktail Crawl. We cant wait to see what they will be shaking up in January!</p>
<p>Once again, all proceeds from the dinner will benefit the Hands On Nashville Urban Farm (<a href="http://www.hon.org/urban_agriculture" rel="nofollow">http://www.hon.org/urban_agriculture</a>).</p>
<p>The dinner will take place on Sunday, January 27th at 6:00pm, at Cafe Fundamental in East Nashville. Look for tickets to go on sale by the end of next week.</p>
